Senior Lighting Designer
Kelli Groskopf Kelli received her BA Degree in Dramatic Design and Performance from Boise State University and an MFA Degree in Theatrical Lighting Design from San Diego State University. She received two Meritorious Achievement Awards from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival for her work in lighting design and has received an Award of Merit for her contributions to the lighting of the Blue Man Group Retail store at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Solaire Casino and Resort in Entertainment City, Philippines and The Venetian Resort & Casino Remodel in Las Vegas.

Kelli has worked professionally for the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Idaho Dance Theatre, San Diego Asian American Repertory Theatre, San Diego Dance Theatre, and the Old Globe Theatre. Some of her theatrical credits include: Sweeny Todd (Onyx Theatre), Into the Woods (Don Powell Theatre), Translations (The Special Events Center), and Kiss Me Kate (Morrison Center for the Performing Arts). Her past work experience includes work at Visual Terrain in Los Angeles, California. While there, she worked on projects including Hard Rock Café Tampa and Hugo Boss Retail.

Kelli joined the shop12 team in November of 2010, and has been contributing to various projects worldwide including Venetian Resort and Casino Remodel (Las Vegas, NV), Solaire Resort and Casino (Entertainment City, Philippines), The Grand (Ba Ria Vung Tau, Vietnam), Sochi Casino (Krasnaya Polyana, Sochi, Russia), The Darling (Gold Coast, Australia) and The Star Grand (Gold Coast, Australia). In past few years, Kelli opened Harrah’s Northern California (Ione, CA), Starbucks at Silverton Village (Las Vegas, NV), Resorts World Las Vegas and The Metropolitan Casino in Mayfair, London.

Kelli is Lighting Certified (LC) by the National Council on Qualifications for the Lighting Professions (NCQLP) since 2015, is an Associate Member of the Illuminating Society of North America (IESNA) and United States Institute of Technical Theatre (USITT).
